Once upon a time in England there was a scarecrow.

He stood in a field and looked like a man.

But he wasn't a real man. The scarecrow was made of straw.

He couldn't run after them. He couldn't wave his arms.

They simply laughed and took more straw.

Yes, cried the scarecrow. You've done it. They've gone.
